Earthen Layers

Architecture is the art of layering time and texture. In this project, we explored the harmony between rugged geological forms and the softness of modern living. By utilizing a restrained palette of muted earth tones, the space invites a sense of grounded tranquility that bridges the gap between the indoors and the forest beyond.

The feature stone wall acts as the anchor, while the tactile interplay of velvet, leather, and fine textiles introduces a subtle, refined complexity. Every line is intentional, every shadow is curated, resulting in a sanctuary that feels as timeless as it is contemporary—a true dialogue between human craftsmanship and the raw beauty of the earth.
